Music touches our souls in a way few things can. It speaks to us and speaks for us when often we can’t find our own words. When a woman sings, it tends to spark emotions in a different way than men can. It somehow feels a bit more personal when we hear women sing.

In a world that was largely dominated by men for quite some time, women have shone through proving they have every right to be part of the music scene in all genres. While it is difficult to narrow top female performers, there are some recent popular female singers who have made a grand impact on our lives.
